Filing your taxes each year is stressful and complicated enough. This Tax Year brings with it an added layer of stress, Trump tax plan is in effect and is causing my people in Los Angeles to pay more in taxes. While touted as a huge tax cut, this plan is expected to increase the taxable incomes of Californians by more than $100 Billion dollars. Throw in some the Coronavirus shutdown and 2020 is turning out to be quite a crazy year. 2021 is not different so far.
Keep in mind it isn’t what you make, but what you keep that is important. Paying less in taxes is like getting a raise without having to actually work any more hours.
